XOXO- Logan
THANK YOU so much for reaching out about my senior portrait experience. I am thrilled by the possibility of getting you in front of my lens! After 11 years photographing seniors, I’ve developed a highly sought-after experience and style that provides you with images that are authentic, natural, and beautiful! I truly pride myself on my ability to produce images that capture the most genuine YOU.
In a way, I hope that this business is my ministry and an extension of what I envision for my life. My greatest hope is that your experience with me would encourage you to know that you are so loved and so worthy and that you are among a generation of world-changers. That as you are launched into the next phase of your life, you are confident in yourself and your ability to make a difference in this world. I believe in this generation to my core, and pray that my small business can play a role in helping launch confident, young men and women into the next phase of their lives.
PLEASE, come and join me!
welcome!
There is so much to celebrate as one chapter of your life comes to a close and you step into a new season of growth and fulfillment. Capturing the YOU that you are right now is my goal. That the images produced are the truest representation of you. I get to know who you are and what you love, and bring that out on camera. I have the capacity to photograph in any setting to achieve the look you are hoping for. I don’t apply filters or presets to my images, but rather aim to perfect them in camera, so that the final product is exactly as you remember your day. I maintain a natural and relaxed style. I like to say that I simply enhance your natural beauty rather than trying to create something that isn’t you. Because of this, I almost always opt to take photos in natural light rather than in an artificially lit studio environment. While I have clients that opt for an editorial styled session and am happy to provide this, I believe natural light illuminates skin tones with a soft radiance that makes you glow. This is the majority of the work you will see from me! I work directly with my senior clients to choose locations that are meaningful and photogenic.
Even experienced amateurs struggle with the more nuanced parts of portrait photography. Mastery of light, hiding undesirable features, and creating radiant skin tones are among the most difficult and most important parts of producing stunning images that most naturally showcase the subject. Furthermore, thinking through every little detail truly does matter. From locations that will best showcase individual style, to scheduling during a season that does the same, and even choosing outfits that are most flattering to the subject in particular--all are details that aren’t always thought through thoroughly by friends and family. Additionally, working alongside a top professional stylist to ensure our subjects not only look their best, but also feel confident and look their best for the camera takes our experience to the next level. My stylist is highly experienced with hair and makeup for portraiture specifically, and knows how to get the very best results on camera. Working with a professional photographer creates a team effort to produce the very finest images as an end result. Everything is custom-tailored to each individual senior.
As “quality” cameras become more available to the general public, I often hear doubt that hiring a professional is truly worth the investment. It seems easy to ask a friend or an amateur to snap a few quick pics to document this time. However, capturing images that are the truest representation of your graduating senior goes far beyond using a nice camera. From skin tones and lighting, to your overall experience and finished products, below are a few reasons why it’s so important to hire a professional photographer to capture such a special time in your graduating senior’s life.
Photographs aren’t meant to lurk eternally on a hard drive. As today’s world transitions further into an age of technology, photographs stay in digital form for far too long. But they’re meant to be printed, displayed, touched, and shared. I’ve designed this process so that my clients almost always finish their time with me with stunning, last-a-lifetime, physical pieces that become family treasures. All of our print products are sourced from professional photo labs and made with museum-grade materials. I lovingly hand-retouch each printed image with an extreme amount of care before putting it in your hands as a finished product; both for digital images and for print products. Often times, I spend hours perfecting the crop, color quality, and removing any blemishes that might become apparent when the photograph is printed in a large format. Your end result is not just a gallery of edited digital images; it’s a custom album, a canvas, a print box--real, tactile artwork and display options that I’ve hand-selected for my senior clients to showcase in your home, or give to family, and share for generations. All done with quality that is second-to-none.

Communicating with my Seniors is a huge part of what I love so much about taking senior portraits. I remain friends with many of my Seniors long after we’ve finished our initial session together (and I so enjoy continuing to hear about and document their journey - college grad pics, anyone?!).
Parents & Seniors: I am here for you in every way possible. I encourage you to ask questions, give ideas, and play a hands-on role in the process. You can always feel comfortable calling/texting/emailing me with questions, outfit ideas, or anything you know you’d feel more comfortable about once we’ve spoken.
Thank you so much!
